Pollution Control in the Manufacturing and Installation of Hydraulic Systems

Pollution control in hydraulic component processing

The machining of hydraulic parts generally requires the use of the "wet machining" method, which means that lubricating or cleaning fluid must be dripped into all machining processes to ensure surface machining quality.

1.2 Cleaning of Hydraulic Components and Parts

Before assembling new hydraulic components, old hydraulic components that have been contaminated must be cleaned before use. During the cleaning process, the following points should be followed.

1) Disassembly and cleaning of hydraulic components should be carried out in a clean room that meets the standards. If conditions permit, the operating room can be pressurized to make the indoor pressure higher than the outdoor pressure. Plastic molds should be used to prevent atmospheric dust pollution. If limited by conditions, the operating room should also be isolated separately. Generally, it is not allowed for the assembly room of hydraulic parts and the machining room or the fitter room to be in the same room. It is prohibited to disassemble and assemble hydraulic parts in open air, sheds, miscellaneous rooms or warehouses.

When disassembling hydraulic components, operators should wear work clothes and hats with fibers that are not easily detached to prevent fibers, dust, hair, dandruff, and other debris from falling into the hydraulic system and causing human pollution. Smoking and eating are strictly prohibited in the operating room.

2) Hydraulic component cleaning should be carried out on a dedicated cleaning table, and if conditions are limited, the cleanliness of the temporary workbench should also be ensured.

3) The cleaning solution allows the use of kerosene, gasoline, and hydraulic oil with the same brand as the hydraulic system working oil.

4) The cleaned parts should not be wiped with cotton, linen, silk, or synthetic fabrics to prevent the fibers from falling off and contaminating the system. It is also not allowed to use a leather tiger to blow air onto the parts (the leather tiger contains dust particles inside). If necessary, clean and dry compressed air can be used to dry the parts.

5) The cleaned parts should not be placed directly on the ground, cement floor, floor, bench and assembly workbench, but should be placed in a container with a lid and filled with hydraulic oil.

6) Parts that have been cleaned but are not yet assembled should be stored in rust proof oil, especially in humid areas and seasons.
